I am a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, and I got an MFA in Fiction Writing at Pine Manor College in January 2009. I have been working on writing a novel since 2002. It has gone through many drafts, and I have gotten several short stories out of it in the process. I recently published a piece of flash fiction, entitled "Your Best Friend's Sister", in Cantilever: Solstice MFA Anthology 2015. On July 23, 2015, I contributed to allthewayya.com with my blog post "Some People Fall In Love and End Up With a Baby, Whereas I Fell In Love and Ended Up With a Book." I also finished a short story called "Angel"-- about a near-death experience -- in April 2015 and am hoping to find the right magazine to publish it. When I'm not writing, I enjoying reading, binge watching Netflix and attending writers' meetings with other writer friends. I live in South Portland, ME with my cat Stella, who was named after the Tennessee Williams character. Oddly enough, Maggie the Cat lives across the street, with my grandmother.
